In the past few days “Gurmehar Kaur” has became a popular personality. She is a student of Delhi University. She lost her father in the Kargil war when she was two. “Pakistan didn’t kill my father, war did.” This statement was given by Gurmehar Kaur in her video and it has taken heat. She is now receiving many threats of rape and death on the social networking sites.

I am not afraid of saying this that I am with you Gurmehar Kaur. I would like to tell them who are trolling her that first take a look at her whole video. You can check the full video here.

You cannot judge anyone by seeing just a snapshot from 4:30 minutes video. That line I am with you Gurmehar Kaurwhich said that “Pakistan didn’t kill my father, war did.” was just a part of the story. She has the full right to express her views and she is just demanding peace between the both countries. I cannot understand that why people are trolling her? Why don’t you troll our Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he went to Pakistan on the birthday of Nawaz Sharif? Why don’t you troll the leaders who promised peace with Pakistan during the time of elections?

The video of Gurmehar Kaur was uploaded 9 months ago. And 9 months ago the policy of India towards the Pakistan was of peace. So why can’t a girl raise her voice in favor of it? Why it becomes a matter of concern for a cabinet minister when a girl says the same which the leaders promised earlier. She is a daughter of a martyr and still she is ready to have peace with Pakistan then why can’t we?

The media highlighted a single statement but they forgot to highlight the whole video which said

“If France and Germany can become two friends after 2 world wars, If Japan and USA can put behind their past and work for progress, THEN WHY CAN’T WE?”

I agree that Pakistan has crossed the limit but everyone has the right to express their views in India. You cannot threat anyone for expressing her rights. You cannot troll any one by saying that “I didn’t score two triple centuries, my bat did.” Yes, this statement was given by the great Virendra Sehwag. I respect Sehwag a lot but this time shame on you Virendra Sehwag.

” I want to live in a country where there is no Gurmehar Kaur who misses her dad.” This is what she said in her video. Why can’t the government fulfill her wish? Why can’t India and Pakistan be friends like Germany and France? I don’t know about the technical strategies at the international level but I do know a single thing that at least we can try again. At last I would say that “I am with you Gurmehar Kaur”
